Well, I'm home again from NOLA. Had an absolutely fabulous time. I'll try and formulate a coherent narrative at some point. Bed now however, as I am exhausted even after napping on the plane.

Glad you made it home safe and sound. Thanks so much for dealing with the cretins at the desk this morning. I was able to get on Shannon's shuttle without hitch and just got home a few minutes ago.

They ended up having to re-do it twice before they finally got it right. It did seem like they knew what was supposed to happen but making the computer do it was baffling the girl. Once they got the guy involved for good, instead of just passing by, it went much better.

We had the most idiot DJ's. I requested "Pussy Control" at 8:30 from the one that wasn't manning the board. Found out at 11:30 that he hadn't passed on the message. Arrgh. But the one that was manning the board most of the night wasn't much better. For one song he requested that the guys be on one side of the floor and the girls on the other. The whole crowd kind of just looked at him for a moment and then just split the floor without worrying about gender. It's like the masquerade confused him and he couldn't tell that there were only 10 actual males in the room.

Well, to be perfectly honest, it was a request from Nancy as she is our usual DJ at these things. It would have to be drinking AND dancing in a room full of unselfconscious women to have the same result.

I'm soo sorry I missed you before I left. We took off for Oh at 1030 am and I just got home at 130 am!
