Title No Return Author Brutti ma buoni Rating R, for some gore Word Count 530 Prompt 193 Vampire Versions Characters/Pairing (if any) Willow, Xander A/N: Warning for character death: this is the Wishverse, and it's not pretty
Thank you! It's difficult, when there's no one left alive, and the vampires are happy they've been turned. Is it tragedy or not? I think, for Xander and Willow themselves, yes, it's a tragedy.
Hoo boy. I'm a little ashamed of myself. I never really thought about human!Willow & Xander in the Wishverse. They seemed so happy to be vampires, that it didn't seem like they missed anything, you know? But this:
They cried a little, safe in the Rosenberg house, in the dark, expecting to die young
really brought home how awful it would have been if they had time to see the horror approaching. (Though I do think they both - or Willow, anyway - got turned that first night, even before the Harvest.)
Funny Xander
I guess he does sort of lose the laughter. It turns into sardonic smiles once he's "cool".

Probably. Or at least in the first few days after. If Jesse was turned they would have been easy pickings.
But where's the poetry in that?
