Exactly - it's such a mad world, yet somehow we are surprised when characters can't take it. I'd be on the first plane out!

Zoe's pride and self awareness shine in the first drabble.

I like the look at Olivia and Giles' casual relationship, too. The casualness made it easy for Olivia to walk away.

Nice job on both.

Poor Giles. A Watcher's life definitely plays havoc with relationships. Though I envy what Olivia left.
