Awww, *sniff*, you made me sad. This is what makes the Mayor my favorite villian - his humanity and love for Faith. So, so well done. Love it.

Thanks! I just love the way Faith and the Mayor mirror Buffy and Giles' relationship - only in a more doomed manner. Harry Groener's acting in "Graduation Day II" just rips my heart out.

Thanks. That's part of the reason I love the Buffyverse; all the supernatural stuff is really rather superficial - underneath it all they're all very human characters, even the bad guys. (Well, most of them.)
