Things have been going very well for me, over all I've been enjoying myself. I've had a mild migraine for the past 48 hours or so which has kept me a little down, but as far as what I've been able to do here thus far things seem to be working out well for me ( Read more... ) -

Tomorrow morning, after Kevin gets off of work, we're taking the car to the shop to get it worked on. Unfortunately this is the earliest time the mechanic we got, whom was highly recommended for being honest (a seemingly rare thing anymore), could get us in. Complicated sentence is complicated. So shortly after I made my last post I made an inquiry to the person who was taking care of the Twin Oaks (TO) waiting list to get some kind of idea where I'm at and what do you know: Surprise! Been having a great weekend just milling about at my leisure. Doug's birthday cookout was Friday night. Saturday I ran some errands and finally used some of my parting gift from previous place of employment to buy some sandals and a few shirts. There's still money left on the gift card but I was a little surprised that it didn't go further than it ( Read more... ) -

I really like my job. It's a lot of hard manual labor. 6-8 hours of spreading, shoveling, and moving mulch some days. But by the end of it I may be sore and wiped out, but I am okay with myself and what I'm doing. I am not doing any imaginary jumping through imaginary hoops. There isn't any talking around issues.
