very busy day
I had a very busy day - so busy that I just want to get some sleep. I'll write more about it tomorrow.
Continuation (Monday):
I started the day by making breakfast. It was nothing special - just some Trader Joe's sweet chicken sausage and fried eggs - but it was delicious and I haven't made a lot of cooked breakfasts lately.
Next on the agenda, I went to join friends on Capitol Hill at Charlie's on Broadway: sphinx_n_herhat, x_ice, purple_mark, and "J". It wasn't wasn't that long after breakfast, so I wasn't all that hungry. All I had was tea and chocolate mousse.
Still on Capitol Hill, I went to the farmers' market and bought a bunch of goodies. I'm looking forward to eating them.
The final event of the day was the most interesting and strenuous. I drove out into the wilderness north of Seattle and went for a hike. I'll break that out into a new message, since it's a long enough story to deserve a message of its own.
