c'est pas mal, les trucs d' "Art Nouveau"! :))

They've got a realy tremendous-hillarious-overwhelming blah-blah architechture of Hundertwasser, there in Vienna, so it is sort of well-developed Austrian tradition...

I would rather call it Imperial Habsburg or maybe Late Gothic tradition. And it's a pity that it didn't have any continuation further into the 20st century. Maybe because Hitler had very limited artistic taste...

I am not much into that stuff, anyway - so my judgements could be rather clumsy...

but I meant this particular lad's artwork http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hundertwasser, who was born in 1928, as I found out right now, and buildings he built have much more in common with Art Nouveau, esp. Gaudi, then any Imperial or Late Gothic style... At least it seemed to me like that - in one of his weird structures, nowadays a bar, I got drunk with one of my ex-girlfriends in Vienna... :))

yeap, vienna is pretty cool

what I meant was that some of these war posters were Spätgotik or even a bit Durerian.

thanks a lot for the link. Hundertwasser's works are really amazing. maybe even more interesting than Gaudi, because unlike the latter he hasn't been hit by a tram at the peak of his career. )) now I've got one extra motivation point to visit this beautiful city.

Awesome. I loved the one where the soldiers hide behind huge coins.

Бля, лишний артикль перед soldiers, когда я уже научусь песать граматно?
