Some time ago I already wrote about the Austrian WWI War loan posters in here. Today I accidentally ran yet into another beautiful example of the art nouveau propaganda in the Easter greetings post by iraan. This magnificent triptych is apparently asking the Ukrainian people of Lviv (Lemberg) to support Habsburg war effort.

These magnificent posters are from the Library of Congress’ ‘Prints & Photographs Online Catalog’ They were commissioned by the Austro-Hungarian government during World War One to encourage Austrian citizens to subscribe to Kriegsanleihen or ‘War Loans ( Read more... )
