the 7th of septemeber was brasils independence day, they gained their independence from the portuguese in 1822. It was a national holiday so we didnt have class that day. Paulo and Liz, our american friends took us to a celebratory parade in downtown joao pessoa. We only stayed a few hours cos it was really hot and there was no shade. plus once ( Read more... )
