Well, it had to happen someday... Today, Mr Darcy is 4 weeks old, and today we finally had to go back to the time & money sink that is Mothercare, for the first time since his birth. Sigh. At least we were spending a gift voucher this time (courtesy of Patrick's very kind coworkers), so it was less financially painful than most of our earlier trips ( Read more... )

It's amazing how much easier it is to cope with everything when I've had enough sleep. Whew. Thanks to Patrick, I am actually feeling decently well-rested today, and far happier. Poor Mr. Darcy is going to grow up so confused. Guess what Patrick and I have just discovered? We know all the same lullabies - but set to completely different tunes! Uh-oh.
