FB and Twatter Cross-Posting

I've only just really heard about this cross-posting nonsence.  I'm gonna say the same as pretty much everyone else on my F/list:

DO NOT LINK ANYTHING FROM MY JOURNAL/ MY COMMENTS TO A FB OR TWITTER ACCOUNT.
I have private content in my journal, hence it's friends locked.  I am appauled that others can post your own private content without needing ( Read more... )

Yep, LJ stuff styays at LJ. I have family (including my father) and friends who are close to my parents on FB, and they most certainly do not need to know that I write porn and have a thing for almsot jailbaiters and whipped cream who have famous Grandpappy's :P

Even icon McQueeny is not amused by LJ's antics LOL

I agree.

I 'm hoping lots of people will complain. The fact that people can see who's looking at their journal and just generally invading others privacy is already a scary concept, this takes the biscuit

You can disable it in your own style. But if a friend, who has not disabled it, looks at your LJ in their style, they can still cross post. I had a friend test this and that's exactly what happened. ARGH!!!!!!!!!
