My mom's been invited to a henna ceremony (or henna night?) by her Turkish cleaning lady, and she asked me if I wanted to go, too. I don't know yet. I'd have to leave work early and remember to put everything I need for the weekend in my car in the morning and don't forget to feed the hamsters (I have my sister's hamster here as well while she's in ( Read more... )

I did go. It wasn't very traditional, though, more of a pre-wedding-party party. (I should have mentioned that these ceremonies normally take part before a wedding, with only female members of the family or friends.) The actual wedding was a few weeks ago already and the actual party was the next day. But it was interesting nontheless.

Well, I guess there are trains in Wales, too? ;D

There are, but not where I'm walking. They do have busses, though. :)

It is actually pretty motivating to go hiking in another country. If I cheated and took the bus, what would I do for the rest of the day?
