Tonight's nest was more comfortable than yesterday, at least I sat leaning against the wall with the laptop on my knees instead of stretched out on the floor. This was my last night in my old room but I don't have a bed anymore. I could have, of course, slept in the new apartment which does have my bed, and also heating. What it does not have,

I moved to my apartment (back then) the moment I had Internet there, even though I still didn't have a bed. Internet trumps bed apparently ;-).

It certainly does. Especially since the cable company still has not called me back about my internet! And telephone. Oh God, it'll be so good to finally have a phone line.

We certainly do. Right now I'm sitting in an almost completely empty room, on an air mattress just to be online for a few hours more.
