I have this story, that I've been working on for days now. It's sorta finished, but I've decided that it needs some rework (and that it needs to be more than 2000 words), so that's what I'm doing, but God help me, it's going slowly. I go to bed each night thinking that tomorrow will be the big day that I'm gonna spend exclusively with writing, and

Isn't it fucking sad how all we (mostly) want is a freaking hug from those guys? Though that hasn't been the question in any of the fan-based interviews with Kripke and Singer. Odd.
and I can't really understand why so many people don't like Bugs.
I know!!! I totally don't get it either. Maybe I'm willing to cut the show more slack than most, since there are maybe 3 episodes that I didn't much like, but Bugs wasn't one of them. I mean, c'mon! The steam shower and the ass-slapping and the sputtering over 'we're brothers' and Jared holding the fucking tarantula in his bare hands - which is something I've yet to see because I'm so squicked that I always cover up my eyes for that scene.
Silly fangirls. :D

The episode might not be the best as a whole, but it had so many great moments! I did see the tarantula scene (it's a sick fascination thing), and I think I did watch for clues that they used a hand double, a fake tarantula, anything, but as far as I remember the camera goes from his hand right to his face, so it must have been Jared picking it up. *shudder*
Dude, you always have the weirdest icons, by the way.

Well, you know those several interviews with Kripke at tvguide.com (and maybe the magazine itself?) where fans could email in their questions to be asked? And not a single one of them had to do with hugs though, as always, a whole bunch of stupid questions, with obvious or already known answers, were asked.

*flaps* They didn't! I mean, they could've covered it up so easily - one little cut between hand and face and you won't know - but no, there's a pan from the hand (with the damn bug) to Jared's face and gawd, boys, you know? Everyone kept telling me that they're harmless (tarantulas, not boys), but I just don't care. It's a freaking huge, hairy spider, right?

Every fandom has its quirks, and SPN's is its remarkably good crack!fic. And I've got a soft spot for well-written crack!fic. So, there's this fic, called King of the Road ( ( ... )

Tarantulas aren't just harmless, they're actively cute! They have adorable teeny little furry feet, which feel really cool when they walk on you.

Ah, I like every episode in which Dean is half naked. :)

well there is that. but apart from that, the episode just doesn't do it for me.

They need an episode in which a naughty spirit catches them and takes their clothes away, just to be playful. :D

who wouldn't love to see more of either guy's great body?
I don't know if you've seen the Paley Festival interview (and if you didn't, you should, even though it's download only) from somewhere in the middle of season 1, but somebody in the audience acutally asked if we'd get to see "more NC-17" (apparently, Route 666 had just aired) in the future, and Eric Kripke promised some "full frontal nudity" on the new network... That I still have to see, by the way.
There totally needs to be an episode like that!

A lying liar that lies that he is. *sigh*
American broadcast television - and even cable television - has really strict rules, controlled by the FCC. I'm not certain how it is in Europe, but I remember being shocked when I saw Sex and the City in Australia on regular TV, uncut and unedited for swearing. It was like, @_@ - in the US, the show was run on a special cable channel that you needed to pay extra (on top of regular cable) to receive.
You can't even swear on network television (they can say 'bitch' and 'ass' but not 'shit' or 'fuck'). I think cable is allowed to say 'shit.' But you need to go an extra (paid) tier to get uncensored swearing and content, the likes of Queer as Folk and Sex and the City.
