I have this story, that I've been working on for days now. It's sorta finished, but I've decided that it needs some rework (and that it needs to be more than 2000 words), so that's what I'm doing, but God help me, it's going slowly. On the good side, last night I dreamed I saw the next episode of Supernatural.

Isn't it fucking sad how all we (mostly) want is a freaking hug from those guys? Though that hasn't been the question in any of the fan-based interviews with Kripke and Singer. Odd.

and I can't really understand why so many people don't like Bugs.

I know!!! I totally don't get it either. Maybe I'm willing to cut the show more slack than most, since there are maybe 3 episodes that I didn't much like, but Bugs wasn't one of them. I mean, c'mon! The steam shower and the ass-slapping and the sputtering over 'we're brothers' and Jared holding the fucking tarantula in his bare hands - which is something I've yet to see because I'm so squicked that I always cover up my eyes for that scene.

Silly fangirls. :D

Oh, I don't need a hug, I'd take a kiss, too. But you'd think the producers would listen a bit more to what the fans want, seeing as how they need the fans to survive... Maybe it's true that nobody has ever told them that yet.

The episode might not be the best as a whole, but it had so many great moments! I did see the tarantula scene (it's a sick fascination thing), and I think I did watch for clues that they used a hand double, a fake tarantula, anything, but as far as I remember the camera goes from his hand right to his face, so it must have been Jared picking it up. *shudder*

Dude, you always have the weirdest icons, by the way.

Well, you know those several interviews with Kripke at tvguide.com (and maybe the magazine itself?) where fans could email in their questions to be asked? And not a single one of them had to do with hugs though, as always, a whole bunch of stupid questions, with obvious or already known answers, were asked.

I mean, they could've covered it up so easily - one little cut between hand and face and you won't know - but no, there's a pan from the hand (with the damn bug) to Jared's face and gawd, boys, you know? Tarantulas aren't just harmless, they're actively cute! They have adorable teeny little furry feet, which feel really cool when they walk on you.

*shudders* I'll take your word for it. I'm sure Jared felt the same way as you, since he actually held one furry monstrous critter in his palm, but I'm certain Jensen was with me on this one - he was nowhere to be found when the tarantula was present.

:) I can probably successfully argue that it was in the script, but I can also make the case for the argument that Jensen said that if there were any spiders around and Jared wanted to play with them, that's fine; write a scene in which Sam plays with pet spiders, and Jensen is far, far away - bees were quite enough, thanks very much.

Speaking of: did you see the clip of Jensen on some talk show (Megan Mullaly show?) where he said they had to let bees sting them so that TPTB (or whoever) were certain the guys weren't allergic? *shudders* And then the bees were too tiny to be seen on film, and wound up being put in digitally, anyway. The most hellish shoot of first season and all for naught.

Well. Jared got to play with a freaking tarantula.

I did see that clip! And the bit with the bee stinging. Ouch. They couldn't just have taken his word for it? Poor guy. The bees were digital after all? I didn't know that.

I'm sure Jared would've loved to take it home with him.

I wonder if he might've not known? I mean, I've never been stung by a bee. I'd have no clue if I'm allergic or not.

Hm. I'll have to watch the clip again when I'm back at my own computer. Not that I need an excuse to watch it, Jensen's damn cute in it.

It'd make me happy to have that fic in existence, too. Did I ever mention how slow of a writer I am, by the way?

Um, no. We usually don't get American magazines here. :)
Maybe they edited all the hugs questions out because it was too gay? On the other hand, they do play with the gay thing... My favorite question, by the way, is "what car are the guys driving?" It's a classic!

Jared must've wanted to pick it up. Obviously. He'll pick up a huge, hairy spider (yes, that's what it is to me, too!), but he's afraid of a little wax coating.

I really don't know what to say about that story. Other than I laughed out loud.

*cracks.up* Ohmygod. That's my most favourite joke EVER. Like, a single thought of Jared and wax in the same sentence and I get an uncontrollable giggle-fit. I mean, the HELL was he thinking, signing up for a movie called House of Wax if he has.. um.. sensitive skin that shouldn't experience the feel of hot wax on it?

We usually don't get American magazines here. :)

I meant the scans. I mostly saw the interviews on tvguide.com but I thought maybe there were some in hard copies that got scanned.

Oh, okay. Yes, I suppose I could get those. :) I try to stay away from any interviews while the season is still running, though -- I'm paranoid about spoilers. Unfortunately that also means that I miss a lot of things, since it's not easy to find everything later.
