After we met up, as we were walking to the parking lot, it suddenly hit me that I had actually written something for the first time since Christmas Day, and I felt something unknot in my chest. I'm so glad that I wrote, too. And, and! I wrote again today, both at lunch and after work. (I tried something new[ish], and it worked.) With a few days' perspective, I'm also feeling pretty good about the thing. And about that 'verse in general -- I maybe have a couple of other ideas about stuff we could do, both with the thing and with other side adventures.
One day soon I am going to call you just for the hell of it.

I did stay home last Monday and Tuesday, and I think that's about all I can manage for awhile unless I end up at death's door, despite the fact that I have ridiculous, Mac-level amounts of vacation time accrued. On the bright side, we do have a three-day weekend, which means that we should also close up the office at mid-day on Friday. That should help, too.
Yay writing! I wrote again today.
And THANK GOD the damn strike is finally over. Now if someone can just sit on Alan Rosenberg's head and avoid a SAG strike in June, we should be aces.

Hurray for holidays! :D We have one next Monday because the Ontario government decided to invent a new holiday called Family Day or something, so we are all supposed to play board games together and whatnot LOL
I need to write some more CSY:NY sometime, I haven't done it in AGES!
