And Danny's doing this purely because Adam enjoys it. Not because there are comics he wants to check out himself. Nope, not at all...

I'm with both of you. The cold is *not* something I enjoy. So not looking forward to mid-30s NYC.

And of course Danny doesn't want to go get his own comic books. Especially not, I don't know, All-Star Superman or The Spirit or Captain America. Nope, it's for Adam. He's just going to be friendly.

Adam is such a perfect combination of frozen, huggable, and the slightest bit prickly. You know, all of these ficlets have been full of sharp details and turns of phrases that are wonderful. I can totally hear the two of them having this conversation, word for word.

Thank you! I'm pretty sure this was the first time I've written Adam POV, so I'm very glad that the conversation was a believable one. He really does bring out Danny's geek side, and I suspect that Danny just can't help teasing him a bit because of that.
