Long time no post
Despite not posting in over a year, I'm not dead! Just busy being pregnant and having a baby. I'm disabling comments because (1) this is more of a courtesy post to people who still have me friended to let them know I'm alive, kicking, and still reading my friendslist, and (2) I don't have time to reply to comments with a newborn around =P -

Why oh why LJ is my friends page broken? You show no updates since Saturday, but that's a lie! *pokes the LJ gods in annoyance*
EDIT: Wow, the recommended "clear browser cache" actually worked! Odd, it's never gotten stuck like that before... -
Friday can't come soon enough...
I realized that I don't post more often because I have some sort of massive insecurity complex that tells me no one cares what I have to say. Or something. Maybe I'm just lazy.
I wish I were the sort of person who just goes to work regardless of how much I hate my job. Instead I keep getting up late and coming home early, generally shaving my work ( Read more... ) -
Catching up
Christmas Day I left for a two week trip overseas and I got back last weekend. The jetlag is killing me. Trying to get back into the swing of work is taking forever. Maybe next week I'll feel more normal. And OMG! I just finished reading my friendslist from skip=500 forward, which has taken multiple days so it's really more like skip=600. * -
Happy Thanksgiving
A happy holiday to everyone who is celebrating. A lot of people are putting up what they're thankful for, and I'm pretty much the same as most: my home, my family, my job (much as I might loathe it at times) are all things that I'm thankful for day after day. Work avoidance
I'm avoiding work today. Actually, I've been avoiding it all week, with a passion. It's probably time to look for a new job, but the impending holidays mean I have stress aplenty without piling on a job search, too. Where'd my extra hour go?
I always thought that once I moved out of apartments and into my own house that Halloween would be more festive, the vague assumption being that single family homes = more families with children. It's alive!
Really, it is. I'm a-reading the f-list and other fannish things, but I just haven't had the energy to post or do anything of substance lately.
Friday's BSG killed me utterly. Thank you everyone who pimped the show because now I have to suffer until January, which is insanely far from now.
