FOOTBALL

The next weekend was a football weekend (as they all are this time of year!).  Greg and I have season tickets to the Washington Huskies.  Greg is an alum, and we get pretty into it.  We usually get to the parking lot about 4 hours before the games to set up for tailgating.  There are anywhere from 10-40 people at our tailgates, depending on ( Read more... )

I miss tailgating! You are lucky you live in the area of the school you support ... we just don't get into Texas football since neither of us are from here. (I think we may be the ONLY people in the state who don't support one of the TX teams!)

Glad you were able to spend some time with your friends. I agree that it is very important to find time to visit with your girlfriends!

Tailgating is pretty fun. We really have a good time. And you're right, we are lucky to live so close!

I think you lose a sense of who you are when you get married if you don't continue to nurture your friendships with your girlfriends.

Looks like fun! And I think the pics of you and Greg are adorable! I'm glad at least one of our football teams are doing well! The Steelers are stinking it up! :p

I totally agree w you on the importance of girlfriends - I love my husband more than anything, but he is not a substiture for my best girls! I always get blue after a weekend with the ladies cause it's so rare I get to see them and we always have the BEST times together...are most of your friends out of state too?

It was fun! And it's so fun to see the Hawks doing so well!

Most of my girlfriends live close (within 1/2 hour or 45 mins), with the exception of the one who lives in Florida. I am lucky. We usually get together for dinner (all of us) once a month, and I usually see two of them once or twice in addition to our dinners.

We usually sit in section 29 or 31. Our seats are WAY up high, so we sqeeze in with the students! ;) Do you go to all the games?
