Hmmm...think I'll do this for Halloween. Although I'm such a horror non-fan it's kind of ridiculous that I'm watching SPN. (Well, no; it's not the gore/jump-scares that bother me so much as the implied structure of the universe. Give me stories where the monsters really can be killed, even if it comes at great cost.

So perhaps my fondness for SPN is understandable after all.)

i think that's one reason spn is so successful--it appeals to both horror fans and non-horror fans with such precision <3

The enormous (and successful) flexibility of the show is rather astonishing.

I definitely think baby!Sam was dressed up in a lion onesie at least once, probably while spending the holiday with Dean at Bobby's, and at the behest of a cute, persistent, fawning old lady in a Wal-Mart.

aaahhhh!! :D And I do like the Goatman story you shared quite a bit.

Thank you for the rec, btw! ;) The story originated because of this news story about a woman who drove around with a corpse in her front seat for weeks (changing its clothes, and enduring the smell) until a traffic cop finally pulled her over. She said she kept at it because she didn't know what to do with the body.

Ladies and gentlemen, Los Angeles.
