It had been good to hear Sasuke defending him on the intercoms when the whole fight had broken out. It was good to know that he had a friend here, even if things had seemed strained between them since they'd first come to this place ( ... )

It was--strange, seeing Naruto naked. They'd been nude around each other before, but that was when they'd still been a team, prepubescent and far too caught up in their rivalry to notice anything physical about one another. Now, however--now it was different. They'd both had three years to mature and change, and the young man Sasuke was looking at was barely recognizable from the exuberant little boy he remembered ( ... )
