tie tack.

Hello artists, I've got an event in two weeks and Im in need of a gear tie tack to go with a Cyberoptix tie. Any ideas?

That's a fun idea. I'd get a cheap tie tack from a tie shop or Men's Wearhouse or someplace, crack off whatever the original motif was, get some scrap watch parts from a watch repair place, and solder the parts to the tack.
