These would've been posted sooner but my computer's power supply took the big dirt nap last week and I couldn't replace it until I got a paycheck. The copper coils inside the old one have potential for much plotting of evil--muhuhahahaaaa!

I love the fact that you made the mitts from an unraveled thrift store sweater. That's amazing.

How does the purse work? Are there slots in the pouches somewheres? Is it just carried about by the handle there? I could probably just go look it up, but I felt like asking....

The purse has a slit hiding in the openwork center. You push the rings to one side to get into each pocket. I've been dragging it around for the past week and thus far haven't found it to be annoying, but then I'm a weirdo.

Men and women both used these (the gentlemen's miser's purses are just as elaborate and fringy) and apparently dumped them in a coat pocket rather than carrying them around. Sadly, by the time ladies started carrying handbags instead of wearing pockets these went out of fashion.
