Me too. I don't think I'd quite dare punk my wheel, but that's partly because I'm not yet good enough.

*wonders what roving would be best for spinning brass.*

Are you sure that's a Babe? I thought they built theirs out of PVC, not wood. It looks much more like a Hitchiker to me, though there may be other similarly formatted wheels.

Nope this one is not a babe - I have an electric one - just the third modded spinning wheel I've seen. :0)
