Wooden Gear Clocks

Plans and kits, or plans and hardware for the handy woodworker.  There are a few different styles available, but they do seem like an elegant and graceful alternative to the readout on the kitchen microwave or the VCR.

A note on these kits: You may have to sand and otherwise "adjust" the gears to make them work. Not a big deal for DIYers, but the clocks may not work straight out of the packaging.
