So you've got a steampunk computer, and decor, but the mouse doesn't run very well on your antique desk, and you don't want to scratch it.

The Mouse Rug looks like an ideal replacement for the nasty foam ones most people normally use.

They come in a wide variety of patterns- I particularly like this Persian designfrom a rug in the National MuseumRead more... )

Oh, thank you! They have them at my work (Borders) and I keep forgetting to mention. Speaking of which, there's a bunch of other stuff there in the Paperchase section that's steamy... I'm getting some capsule highlighters that come in a little capsule case that I'm going to paint up... There's also a ton and a half of leather and magnetic (old looking) journals... that's the problem working retail, there's too much nifty stuff >_

I found out about them because I saw one promoting a Petroleum Exploration consultancy firm in an office where I work. They look harder to get in the UK though, though the Freud Museum stock one.

That's a good possibility. I know Paperchase was based out of the UK, but don't know what stores they still have, and I know Borders isn't there.

If in doubt, call on TEH INTARWEBS! :D

Borders has spread to the UK now, and there's a few places selling them online, but the range is smaller.

I have one if these and love it. The one I have is like the one that Freud had on his couch.

I have the persian set and love them! Very useful and quite nice to brighten up your office. (mine are at home though, since I'm a temp and I'm not risking loosing those :)
