So, I'm listening/watching the Sweet Adelines International competition (since I have a friend singing later and I used to sing with a local SAI group) being held in Vegas and I just heard an [b]OUTSTANDING[/b] performance.

Congratulations Pride of Portland Chorus. You sounded absolutely outstanding!

Really makes me miss singing. :/

and I bumped into Chirik :D We were looking at each other thinking "Don't I know her?" heh.

The show was great. I'm still surprised my husband came with me since Heather's music isn't the usual type of thing he listens to but I'm glad he came and I'm very glad I went. I had a really enjoyable time. And it was great seeing Chirik again :)

And of course I'm introspective as I am every year. I think back on the things I failed to do. I start thinking of my various health issues and the fact I'm one step closer to oblivion. sigh.

At least I'll have friends over tonight to distract me.
