My brother is simply amazing. The guy who sang the Angel Gabriel Solo on Saturday was good, but my brother...

His phrasing...stunning
His volume.....perfect
His voice......filled the part

And on top of all that, he barely had a voice to talk with before or after the performance. I think we all should recognize the talent.

I was in Chicago last weekend. That city is frickin awesome. We toured around, and saw the house that they made home alone in. I wanted to see Bolt, but he wasn't there. So many lights, and buildings. By far the best city I've ever been in. And I've been in a lot of cities.

Moral: Go to Chicago!

So yea, I wrote this awesome guide to how to play better in the CUAA Wind Ensemble. If you want to read it, I'll either say no or yes to you. Chances are, if you've pissed me off before, I'll say no.

It boggles my mind, every day, about the amount of selfishness and stupidity at Concordia. Some people just really try to make people feel so bad. Others try to use other people to make them feel better, which is essentially the same thing. I'm so glad I have grace-ful teachers. Otherwise I'd be in it pretty deep right now. With the weekend (arborsong tour) and everything else, including this upcoming weekend I feel like I haven't accomplished anything. People keep encouraging me, but others trap me, and neither seem to be helping.
