Working 60-80+ hours a week between jobs. My apartment hasn't had a full cleaning in months and I do laundry on an emergency basis, except about every 2-3 weeks when I do enough laundry to get by... The title says it all - yup - I am on my own. I have been on my own for about 8 weeks now, living 5 hours away from my family. I moved out of my house for many reasons, but one of the most critical reasons is graduate school... but that has been delayed a term because of financial circumstances. Yes, the title says it all. I really want to do a digital photography exhibit. How, when, and would I ever be good enough for someone to accept my prints as good enough to be placed in a public space are another whole set of questions to be answered - yet that still doesn't stop me from dreaming about it. I really want my art on public display.

I should know that an email isn't going to come for me as long as I sit here waiting for it, reloading the Gmail screen. It just won't come. I can dream and I can hope, but I must accept the fact others have more important things to do than reply to my emails ( Read more... )
