Tiny Cracks

[status_quotient]

tiny cracks
have begun to reveal themselves
in what was once
our porcelain skin
and we powder our noses
and rub the grime off the mirror
to see ourselves
in ways
we wish the rest of the world would

Thanks for sharing your work with me. I certainly don't profess to know anything about poetry ( as you know)..................but I do know when I read something honest, real, raw and BEAUTIFUL. And I think those are the most important things to capture and/or express in writing. I think you've done that quite perfectly ;-) I have only just started to scroll though all your writings, but I'm already looking forward to the next moment of peace and quiet I can capture, so I can sit down and continue to read.
