something wrong with GeekSquad? It's a decent Entry level job in the IT Industry. Employers aren't interested in what you "can" do, but only in that you have "corporate work experience." In other words, so what if I can set up 1000 Node computer networks and even secure them with CISCO PIX firewalls because I have the initative and drive to learn this stuff on my own. Who cares if I fixed nearly every computer in my neighborhood? I don't have "corporate work experience" so therefore I'm not good enough. (( Never mind some of these companies employees really don't know jack. At a lawfirm, the head Desktop Services guy didn't even know what a MAC Address was, and how it related to IP Assignments. )) but if humbling myself at a lower job makes me worth something, so be it. It'll pay off in the end.

Two things. Those guys have commercials which many people have seen. Most people I know that have seen that have just thought "What losers". Also I have heard tech support/support type entry level jobs get you no where. That only what I've heard.. but I was told by someone that was in the Video Game industry so where your headed I guess it's different..

Congrats on the job, man!

SO sorry about the accident, though. That sucks. At least nobody was hurt, y'know?
