a couple new things to report. I ended up getting a job! Dun dun dun... I will now be one of those Geek Squad people. http://www.geeksquad.ca/en/main.asp?gotoloc=technicalsupport Agent Static... lol. However, the starting pay is rather good for something like this, and it's a foot in the door to a lot better Desktop Services job with a couple years experience.
another thing... I was in a car accident. Obviously this really sucks. I was turning into the parking lot of a fast food joint, and a pedistrian walks in front of me. I yield to the pedistrian.... POW total rear-endage by a huge Chevy Astro. I swear, why the hell can't people the the fuck attention to the road and see people going just a wee bit slower on a turn cause of a person walking in front? as I get hit, my car bolts forward (after the initial headsnap) and I got this strange tunnel vision. I could see the pedistrian, but everything was moving all slow motion like. I banked teh wheel hard right, and barely missed the guy. now some may say "static, why didn't you hit the breaks?" and I say there is nothing you can do to stop your car if a huge fucking van plows into you. breaks just don't cut it in that scenario. man... what an insurance headache. Welcome to California! XD
