Right now we're on "paid account, free trial" status for two weeks.

I figured out how to get statements to have the better comment pages, but we can only have them as long as the community is either Paid (and I'm not giving money to LJ) or Plus (which means basic users will see ads), and I want to know what you guys think about this.

I can't really say that, since (as a Permanent Account holder) I never see ads anyway.

$5 for two months, $15 for six months or $25 for a whole year. Not a ton of money, certainly. But I'm not sure I want to give even one penny to LJ, given their total disregard for their userbase recently.
