First off, let me apologize for not doing this feed-back earlier. Yesterday was crazy, and even though I managed to read this several times in between my study breaks, I wanted to make sure I had plenty of time to give this the feedback it deserves. :D

I loooooove Pre-season 1 AUs, and you've got everything I love about them here. And your Lilly voice? Oh my god. You need to write her more often! She's so incredible and so much fun!

Ha! It scares me that everyone thinks my Lilly and my Dick voices are so good. What sort of person am I really? A sex kittenish surfer boy? Oh Lord. But, on the other hand, I'm glad for the compliment. Lilly was an awesome girl, and without her, there'd be no Veronica (show or girl) -- so thank you!

I also like that Veronica isn't a simpering princess. She is naive, but she's also the Veronica, I love, and everyone else seems to hate :( , underneath that.Yeah, I always felt like she had more beneath that pretty, pretty princess exterior. I mean, someone doesn't turn into

Yeah, I always felt like she had more beneath that pretty, pretty princess exterior. I mean, someone doesn't turn into Veronica Mars without a spine in the first place. In flashbacks, we rarely see her on her own, so I like to imagine she fantasized about Logan.

Precisely, I mean in Lord of the Bling, in the flashback when they talk about going to Logan's for the party, the scene where he talks about his parents going out of the country to see yaks or something, Veronica said something like, "While I'll be taking photos of you, yakking in the privacy of your own living room."

She definitely had some sort of back bone. And yes, she was totally fantasizing about Logan... I mean come on, she was dating Duncan. Of course she was. ;D

Now where's my sequel!!!!?

Okay, so I'm not sure what I can say here that I didn't already say when I did the beta, but honestly, I loved this one.

Even with the sad ending, I still thought it was so perfect. If any of this had happened, I really don't see Veronica being able to just shrug her shoulders and walk down the halls of Neptune High, hand in hand with Logan. Especially when you consider how she was supposed to be pre-series. There's no way that girl could have just taken losing her best friend in stride, no matter what.

And personally, I enjoy an angsty ending once in a while, so to me, this was a lovely choice. The first ending was hopeful and sweet, but this one is far more realistic.

Such a good job with this one, Jess. Truly awesome, and probably my favorite from you, which is saying something, 'cause you've never written anything I didn't like.

Too right. She was obviously very close to Lilly, like sister close. We saw what happened when she lost her to murder, so knowing that she caused their friendship to break would be really much to hard.

This was great! And I didn't really like that it ended in angst, but I think it ended very much in character and realistic. I don't think V at that point would have been able to switch gears to walking down the halls with Logan and Logan wouldn't have waited for her to figure herself out first. Great fic! I really hope that inspiration strikes and you write a sequel to this at some point. ;)

Thanks so much! Yes, I'm a big fan of the rainbows and puppy dogs ending myself, but thanks to a certain beta, she pushed me to finish it... and I didn't think there was any way that this would have ended all sunshiney. So glad you liked, and thanks for the kind words ;)

This was ... amazing. I adore pre-series Logan/Veronica, and this was totally hot, and so amazingly in character; I even loved the ending, though I'm echoing previous comments and saying that I want more, dammit!! Anyway, this was perfectly awesome :D
