And in other news? I hear about teach for america in 9 days and sent letters to other prospective employers yesterday. Things are OK... for now.

well, there were positive parts to the day too. I saw an awesome lecture on Bob Marley's reggae aesthetic and it was phenomenal. Got a teach for America interview! So yeah, I'll keep you updated, it's towards the end of the month. I've been looking at places I want to teach and I thought hawaii would be cool but its in a really remote part, and considering I won't be near honolulu, and I can't get to my friends and family very easily at all, it would be really hard. I'm going through a weird thing where I think certain things are bad for me and may stop doing them but do not somehow translate that to others. that i suppose i should relish while i can: distinctly enjoying being single. Tonight, i thought this, in the face of new loves, strong loves, and violently ending loves. Not to say i'm not usually kinda interested in someone, and where things might go, but i just feel like... being single's actually good in and of itself. nice.
