(no subject)
Got a teach for America interview! So yeah, I'll keep you updated, it's towards the end of the month. I've been looking at places I want to teach and I thought hawaii would be cool but its in a really remote part, and considering I won't be near honolulu, and I can't get to my friends and family very easily at all, it would be really hard. Beautiful, but hard. So I'm thinking either Baltimore, New Mexico, Memphis, or Atlanta, if I do get in. That's a huge if, but I have to choose preferences when I get there.
It sure is reassuring to know that wherever I go, next year, I'll still be writing in my journal (ah! I mean, I think Iwill!) and you guys will all still be reading. You should comment more then because I'll feel lonely and forget I'm likeable. It's quite predictable, actually. But the other corps members will be new too, so maybe it'll be ok...
In other news, I hate how busy my life is. But I talked about that already. I like the things I do, I just wish there weren't so many. Tomorrow I have everything blocked up except from 4:30-7 pm. I dunno.
We leave for Quebec in like a week and a half, that's exciting. And on Saturday I'm taking my mandatory (and yet costing 20$) field trip to NYC with my art history class. I don't, frankly, think I have enough money for a trip to NYC. oh well. I'm reading a book (yes, a christian book) called 'Captivating' about women and their desires and I love love love it. I read it when I can steal some time. I stayed up late tonight to clean my room.
I gave up alcohol for lent. This should be fun on spring break and house party...but its inspired by my talking about giving things up before. I always feel a little weird about drinking anyway.
I think that's everything new... ... I'm kinda not sick anymore and returned to exercising. It's nice. The end.
