first attempts at making icons....

I've been playing with paint.net and trying to make icons -- these are my first attempts -- all Kaiba from Yugioh! (gee, you think I got a thing for him or sumthun?) ... mostly behind the cut, (hopefully if I can get the dang thing to work, but here's one for a sample. There are only about half a dozen or so, and I have no idea how you get the nice

I like the two colored manga ones. Though the 'You get off my internet' ones made me snicker.

To get the pretty numbered boxes you can do one of two things. Either, A) patience and the LJ table maker or B) Steal one and alter it for your own satisfaction (http://www.caitirin.net/icons/table.txt <-- From the icon challenge I'm doing but it'd give ya a base to work off of) ^.^

Actually the manga looking ones are originally screencaps run through Paint.Net's sketch effect -- for a freeware program, Paint.net had some really nice things on it. The weird multiple eye thing is the same image base as one of the sketches, just using a different effect. Paint.net is kinda fun
