Thank you for coming here to vote. The participants have worked very hard with these icons for 2 months (or if they're like me, they've been procrastinating for 1½) and the winner of each category will recieve a real, actual award that has been randomly chosen for that category. The iconmakers have iconed their favorite in all categories (Best Episode, Best Lead Character, and so on), but this is not what you will be voting for. If we wanted to know who the favorite cylon was, we'd start up a poll at battlestar_blog. This is an elite icon challenge and we will therefore ask you to vote for the best icon in each category, so again;
vote for best icon, NOT your favorite character/moment/etc.
All iconmakers have made icons for all 16 categories. There are 16 physical awards that will be sent to the winner of each category. If the winner don't want the award, the award will to to the runner up, and so on. The awards are these:
5 BSG playing cards
7 BSG keyrings (made by Skiffy to promote the Minis), 1 replica of Chief Galen Tyrol's dogtags
1 die-cast Colonial One, 1 BSG wristwatch
1 copy of a BSG comic, signed by the artist Steve McNiven!

The iconmakers are allowed to vote, but not for their own icons (telling people wich icons are theirs and to vote for them is obvs tacky cheating and nothing our iconmakers are involved in).
How to vote
Please comment with the number of your favorite icon in each category (You may only vote for one icon). You can copypaste this list below to your comment and then just add the number of your favorite icon. You do not need to be a LiveJournal member to vote. The comments will be screened and the winners will be announced January 9th.
