breach

This afternoon I decided to let myself splurge for once this year and go to a movie on opening weekend. Truth be told, I just want to be a part of those Monday movie earnings numbers supporting movies that are not lame comedies. So, my matinee money went to Breach, the new spy drama starring Chris Cooper (who I've come to realize is one of my ( Read more... )

Ah, going to a non-kid movie in the middle of the afternoon, I remember those days. There is a movie theater in Niles (which is just over the state line in Michigan) that is CHEAP and runs new releases. If ever you're interested, I'll give you directions. Movies 14 in town is expensive and too teenager driven for me :)

You've rated 300 movies? I'm trying to think if I've even ever seen 300 movies....most likely, but I'm doubting the 110 x's they played Ghostbusters on HBO in the 90's counts :)

And I agree with you, Ryan Phillipe is bland. He reminds me of Zoolander with his patented "looks". All he does is look at the camera.

Anyway- thanks for voting on the side of SuperMom versus Crazy :)

Ryan Phillipe is actually REALLY good in "The Way of the Gun" but other than that, bland and boring is perhaps too kind.

I've only rated 174 movies on Netflix. 300 is crazy amazing!

Hmm...where are you rating these movies you speak of? I need to start watching more movies. After all, I do have Blockbuster Online. Better start getting some more use out of that. But, this damn candidacy thing.... hmmm.

Oh, so, yea, now I realize who Chris Cooper is. I enjoyed such movies as The Bourne Supremacy, Adaptation, The Bourne Identity, The Patriot, Me, Myself & Irene, American Beauty, etc. Oh, and (according to IMDb) he has four movies that are close to out, in production, or announced. Nice.

I like Ryan Phillippe, but I guess that is from my liking of Cruel Intentions. And, of course, of Reese Witherspoon.

Hmmm... they have both done some movies that I still need to see.
