Somehow this chapter felt short to me, I like how the relationship of Orfee and Torin is evolving. keep up.

Basically 'cause it was. :/ I'm not sure how to balance the plot and TorinxOrphee relationship just yet at the same time without going overdue on one of them and forgetting the other.

I believe you will be able to balance it out well, I love the way you write, I stalked your writing journal and read almost all that there is over there, I love your original fiction although the magical part of Reese didn't make sense to me unless there will be a second chapter :). So keep up

I haven't decided if I'm going to make a sequel or not. I wasn't planning on doing the magical part, I just put it in to help show the kind of world they were living in and naturally, Jax always thinks about Reese, so he spent most of the time explaining Reese's problem.

Glad Watanuki's settling down. Charm spell? I have to agree, at least demons are honest about thier selfish motives and don't try to get you to believe what they're doing is for your good... or for the common good... and act all self-righteous about it.

I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop... it's got to be hitting terminal velocity soon!
