I took Slick to the vet this morning. First, he lost half of his weight because of all of this. He weighed all of 15 lbs! They ended up keeping him to run some tests and give him an IV to rehydrate him. They told me they'd call when the results were back ( Read more... )

I suspect he;ll feel better once he's rehydrated. Cats get dehydrated so easily...

I hope so! This is the first time he's been completely alone since I brought him home, and I worry. I just hope he's okay.

He'll be so happy to be back that he'll shower you with affection - my Brit Kitty remembered laptime when she came back home from just such a trip a couple months ago. Now I can't sit down in front of the TV without her there wanting up. :)

15 lbs is half of his weight though. :( He's a BIG kitty.

Poor Doomkitty. :( I hope he gets better soon. Sick kitties are heartbreaking.

Thank you. I do too. I want to go bust in to the office and love on him. He's probably scared right now. This is the first time he's been without one of us since I brought him home.
