new opportunities. Had a lovely ladies' night in on Saturday night. Nicky, Desiree and I made chicken wings, rocky road brownies, hummus, mini Reubens, etc etc. We had all sorts of delicious drinks (esp. my concoction of watermelon puckers, lemon vodka and diet squirt...sooo delicious like melted rainbow sherbet, as well. seriously?!
I am up to my eyeballs in homework and finals prep. Ugghhh. I have 2 lab reports due Saturday, plus a test and a new lab that I have to do. That lab'll be due next Saturday plus I'll have a chapter test and comprehensive lab and lecture finals that afternoon. I also have 2 psych papers due this week, plus psych final next week. soooo tired
I'm working on about 2.5 hours of sleep for the 4th time this week. I have a huge headache that wont quit, too. It's one of those horrible behind the eye down the neck ones. Light and sound sensitive, as well. I want to punch myself in the eye so that I can feel something else. On top of that, I am so friggin tired, but my body wont let me ( Read more... ) -

Sooooo angry!
So, I went to write a short paper for my psych class while my bread was going through it's first rise, and I left a small Ziploc bag of extra starter on the coffee table (where I had been smelling it because sourdough smells awesome). I am proofing my starter/sponge as I type! yay!! I'm baking sourdough for the first time, ever!! I've been working on my starter for almost a month and it finally is sour enough to bake with:) I will attempt to post result pics, unless I'm too tired:)
