You have bewitched me, body and soul, and I love-- I love-- I love you

As you can probably tell, I watched Pride and Prejudice today. The new one cum Keira Knightley. It was beautiful. I was watching it kind of thinking [ha, look, there's me.] I am in love. British films. Oh my god I love British films. I need to read the book now.

Apart from that though, I seem to be going through a "lesbian movie stage", as JohannaRead more... )

I'm afraid I can't offer comment on those songs as I don't know them as well as I should. Congrats on the Note War, I agree you seem to be winning.

I liked Jane Eyre better than Pride and Prejudice. That haiku meme can keep you mesmerised for hours...

And, during the storm yesterday, I was sheltering under the awning of a liquor store in Taita where some friendly mowing men offered to give me a lift to Avalon.

I did think it was you, was reading the anonymous comment thinking, [this sounds like SSar.] :D

I was thinking of uploading them. I don't seem to have the Bellefire version of I'll Never Get Over... though, nor any version at all of Send in the Clowns (I was so sure we had a Barbra Streisand version but I can't find the CD).

Haven't read either, though I have started Pride and Prejudice. It's so frustrating when the haikus come up with too many syllables though, like when it uses a name it doesn't know the number of syllables for.

Nice guys :) what were you doing by a liquor store in Taita (apart from the obvious sheltering from the rain)? [grin] Actually, where is Taita?

Send in the Clowns is Steven Soundheim, Caryl. :P Though Frankie has sung it.

Yes, well, the karaoke thing I have says him, ergo it would be his version. :D

I think I have a version somewhere around here sung by Glenn Close. It's originally written for a woman.
