As you can probably tell, I watched Pride and Prejudice today. The new one cum Keira Knightley. It was beautiful. I was watching it kind of thinking [ha, look, there's me.] I am in love. British films. Oh my god I love British films. I need to read the book now.
Apart from that though, I seem to be going through a "lesbian movie stage", as Johanna put it, because two of the three movies I really badly want to see at the moment are lesbian movies (and the third is Brokeback which isn't much better lol). :P Fucking Amal (aka Show Me Love) and Lost and Delirious. What is it with Piper Perabo and lesbian movies? First Lost and Delirious, and then Imagine Me & You. Not that I'm complaining or anything.
YAY for badminton season being over! You know what this means? I can go back to dance class!!! Hurrah, a thousand times hurrah! I'm so excited! I've probably missed out on tons but at least I know my chacha's more than half decent LOL. Eeeeeeee!
Mamang (my grandmother on Mom's side) is coming over from New York in the holidays and staying for over a month. :( On the upside, she brings presents, and we could theoretically order stuff off Amazon (free shipping to continental US) and have her bring it over (High School Musical soundtrack, here's looking at you). On the downside, she uses my bathroom, watches CNN all day, is generally somewhat annoying, asks me slightly idiotic questions (2004 she came into my room, looked at my Idolised poster, and asked me if those were my friends, I was quite stunned), and/or forgets I exist (it's alllll about Raeann baby). As she's here in the hols, my general parentally imposed hermit status means I will be forced to contend with her all day every day, and she is also here for the Shooting Star thing and for the start of mocks. :(
Speaking of the Shooting Star thing! I seriously need to pick a song.
Poll I've narrowed it down to a very iffy three
Hm. I finished that SS standard. I really hated it, but I finished at least. I was so incredibly hard on myself in the evaluation: "The conclusion was in fact not overly conclusive." and pretty much concluded that I should have picked a different country as this was in fact awful.
The storm yesterday was cool! It rained hardout during Latin and we were in the middle of a comprehension test and everyone just started to look up at the windows until Amanda went, "Yes, it is raining." Then there was thunder and everyone's like [blink] except me the Latin geek. Ahem.
Johanna and I are waging note war. While she may have gotten three notes into my raincoat without my noticing, I got one into her bra without her noticing, ergo I believe I'm winning. With underwear, even. Although I did make up for that uncharacteristic sublety by very blatantly trying to shove one into her blazer pocket on Wednesday afternoon. I'm cool.
We have a shag day next Wednesday, and a half-day on Thursday. Wellington Girls' so wins at...at something. Like badminton against East :)
