First of all:

I hit 192lbs!!! I am nearly jumping for joy right now! It's the most awesome news I have heard since.. last week when my scale said 193lbs!
I don't know how I managed it either, especially considering I indulged a little bit over the weekend.

For my birthday, my boyfriend took me out to Applebee's for dinner; I only had breakfast and ( Read more... )

Congrats on getting down to 192! I'm hoping to see a drop in the scale number this week, too. :)

Re: realistic goal weight: Generally, plan to lose no more than 2 lbs per week (that's a healthy rate of weight loss, and gradual enough so that your skin can keep up with the loss of fat). If there are fifteen weeks between now and the beginning of January, I'd say a realistic goal is to lose about 30 pounds in that time. Any more than that might be pushing it. It's certainly doable, but it might be better to aim for number like 30 and end up pleasantly surprised if you lose more than that than to aim for 50 and be disappointed if you only lose 30.

That's just my two cents though. In the end, it's up to you! :)

Thank you! I kind of figured that 52 pounds would be very unrealistic and VERY unhealthy to try to do. I always appreciate another person's opinion about things like this thought, it's a lot more helpful than my own opinion, which could be bias in a situation like this D:
30 pounds is a lot more realistic than 50, so I think I'll try my best to reach 30; on SparkPeople they suggested that my goal be 50 by next April. I think I could do it sooner than that but I think it's a good start anyway!

And GOOD LUCK with dropping the numbers! :) Do your best and I know you'll see the resuts you're looking for!

Oh, besides 160lbs is pretty good, considering I was around 170lbs when they last saw me ;D So hopefully I'll be the talk of the town!
