Entry 012: Hard work pays off + Birthday recap

First of all:

I hit 192lbs!!! I am nearly jumping for joy right now! It's the most awesome news I have heard since.. last week when my scale said 193lbs!
I don't know how I managed it either, especially considering I indulged a little bit over the weekend.

For my birthday, my boyfriend took me out to Applebee's for dinner; I only had breakfast and fruit all that day, to mentally prepare myself for it. I didn't want to starve myself so I would end up overeating, but I wanted to have enough wiggle room to actually enjoy my birthday dinner. I ended up eating most of it, but ensuring that I didn't eat it all and ate as slowly as I could. After this we went to The Lion King 3-D, and since I was full we didn't have anything at all except for some bottled water.
When we returned home around 10:30pm he surprised me with a cute little cake, which I enjoyed looking at and stayed strong enough to not eat any; it's bad enough that it's cake, it's really unnecessary to add insult to injury by how late it was!
Some presents came in the mail from my Grandma, included was some really adorable owl jewelry (owls are my favorite) and a nice Exercise ball + two work out videos with it. So on Sunday I gave it a try for the first time and I gotta say-- I've never actually used an exercise ball to actually work out with before so I wasn't exactly the most comfortable; but the work outs were really awesome! I still prefer my 4 core exercises in comparison to doing the ones on the ball, but I really loved the arm and leg workouts... I'm actually still feeling it today which is pretty awesome!

Also, in other news, I am hopefully planning on returning to my hometown over winter break (January) and because I wanna look good to see all the people I haven't seen in 3+ years, I am really hoping to lose a lot of this weight by then.. what do you guys think is a good goal to have from now until January? I don't think it's realistic to try to drop the 52 pounds I still have left in a matter of 4 months.. what do you guys think? Is it plausable to do 52lbs? If not, what goal weight is more realistic?
