Entry 009: Workout Jams.

Just figured I'd update a little and talk about music. But first I want to take the time to update a little.

I just came back from the YMCA. I finally did it, twice now. I did so yesterday as well. I think a lot of my adversity towards gyms is I feel like everybody is watching me, everybody is judging me. Everybody who passes me is thinking "Look at ( Read more... )

I used to feel like that. Then I realised one day that when I saw a person bigger than me I didn't think 'Wow look at them they're so fat'. I actually thought 'Wow, they are really brave. Good on them for wanting to improve their health and look after themselves.' After that I wasn't bothered anymore.

I listen to rock when I work out! Or occasionally something a little dancy like Robyn

Thanks for your input! I really try to keep my focus on working out instead of looking at other people, but I never really thought of it like that, so maybe this is a chance for me to improve myself mentally as well.

What kind of rock do you listen to? I really like alternative rock, or bands like Tool. Otherwise I'm a fan of classic rock/metal bands. I think that any genre of music can be good for working out, as long as it makes you feel energized.

Love Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age, 80s and 90s rock. Love it all really :)
