"Eric got closer and closer. I wasn’t sure if he was going to bite me or kiss me."

Ok, I know I'm a little behind schedule here, but I'm trying really hard to pop these out as fast as I can. Last night I stayed up until 4am trying to finish this before I went to sleep (and I work at 9am). HAHAHA why do I do this to myself? I know this is not that important in life but, gah! I set goals, I need to keep them ( Read more... )

Agreed! I just really enjoyed it all the way through. haha it's easy to tell that the episode is good when I want to make GIFs of so many other things that aren't related to Eric at all. I made like a million from this episode because I was entertained by almost all of it. :D

I saw part of season 1 of this, but I just very recently got into it after marathoning S2 + what was there of 3. Can I just say that season 2 is so much better than the snore fest of season 1? Sookie is really annoying in the beginning of three, though...

Anyway, I <3 these picspams. I agree lmao, Jason & Andy's developing bromance is one of my favorite things outside of Eric on this show, along with Jessica/Hoyt + Arlene/Terry.

ITA about that. I actually watched the first ep of True Blood when it originally aired and I wasn't really a fan. I wouldn't say that I disliked it per say, but I was so indifferent to it that after 3 episodes I just kind of forgot to keep watching. Bill/Sookie kind of reminded me of a grown up version of Twilight and I just didn't want anything to do with that, lol

And then right before s2 started a few of my friends convinced me to read the books for Eric because they thought I'd like him. haha so I did and got hooked that way and then gave the show another chance. And now look at what happened to me!

I actually had to skip the majority of the first season bc I don't think I could have handled all of that Bill/Sookie crap, lol. I don't really regret it though.

I'm not sure if I want to give the book series a try, because while I'm all for Eric/Sookie I'm afraid that I'll get annoyed with it being all about Sookie - what with it being in 1st person and there being an incredibly less amount of Andy, Hoyt, Jason, Jessica, Lafayette, Sam, Terry, etc...would you say it's still worth the glance?

ehhh lol honestly I'm not really sure if I'd recommend the books. They're pretty silly/ridiculous most of the time, but in a slightly less intelligent way than the show.

However, I did have tons of fun when I read them. I read literally all of them in the span of 2 weeks in that "omg I can't put this down" kind of way. I was a bit 'blah' about the first book (just like the show) but then by the time I got to the middle/end of book 2 and Eric suddenly became the character with the 2nd most page time after Sookie I really got into it ( ... )

i need to find a Pam icon stat, i already said this but she is so fucking fabulous in this episode. such a scene stealer.

I love your commentary about Eric/Sookie's dynamic developing.

AS USUAL, BRILLIANT WORK.

Pam doing anything makes any scene automatically awesome. I'm so glad that she's a main character this year.

I love what they've been doing with Eric/Sookie so far this season. It's nice to actually see them spending time together for real and getting to know each other. haha they literally had about 2 scenes alone all of last year (not counting the dream sequences).

Yup, it was the leaning against the door while crying thing that got to me!

Oh, Jessica/Hoyt should never be that sad! I hope Jessica gains a little more self confidence and eventually gets him back.

"hee! Jessica/Eric SO need more scenes together."

Even though I ship Eric/Sookie to DEATH, I feel like Eric/anyone other than Sookie need more scenes together. Me, I totally want to see Eric and Jason interact more, just cause I adored their scene in 2.08. All that aside, this picspam was AWESOME. This entry is totally getting me worked up for Sunday's episode, and I'm excited to see your commentary for it! =D

Ah yes, it helps that Eric has chemistry with pretty much every other character on the show! I definitely would love more scenes with Jason.
haha it'd be funny to see the most intelligent person on the show interacting with the least intelligent person on the show.

Although with that said, I hope we get lots more Eric/Sookie just because before this episode they've literally only had about 3 scenes alone together. Now that Bill's not around it does change their whole dynamic.
