It's fun to compare the show to the books. Although I was kind of worried when I started writing this up if I'd remember the books well enough to add the quotes (since I read them all last year) but it all came back well enough. haha.

But I think you meant magister, not majester. You know the latin word for chief/master. There were different kind of magisters in ancient Rome : in the military, administration, specific towns, and religious organizations. ;)

You know, it's funny, I actually thought of that first. But then I found somewhere online that said "majester" and it was in urban dictionary as being "head of vampire court". hahaha so I just thought "Well it's a made up word anyway so maybe they just spell it weirdly!"

Although you're totally right, it makes waaay more sense to spell it "magister" so...I changed it back to that.

LOL clearly I'm putting way too much thought into this if I'm looking up made up words all over the internet.

lol tbh I didn't enjoy the first book either. But when I started my friend told me that I had to get to some character named Eric who doesn't really became a "main" character until the middle/end of book 2, so I just kind of forced myself to get to that point. And then once I got there I did enjoy the books more. haha of course they're still cheesy/ridiculous but...so is the show.

Andy/Jason is so one of my fav parts of the show! :D

haha, always glad to help! I'm responding to comments while I'm at work now so I know how it is! ;)

I hope you enjoy the rest of the books! They're silly, but lots of fun. Especially if you like Eric, because he has tons of page-time.

I can't wait until the show gets more into the Pam/Sookie friendship!
