Have you checked out The Life and Times. It's *really* well written, though sadly still ongoing. It's a definitive piece.
Currently I'm reading Commentarius. Which is really good and also funny, though still ongoing as well. Her one-shots are worth checking out too!
One of my all-times favs is Buried Treasure and Transmorgify. It it unfortunately abadoned, but it is so well written that it's worth it. Everything from the story to the characters, the romance and the smut is just wonderful. If you don't have bedchamber status at Checkmated, you'll have to apply for it, but assuming you don't have a problem with smut, it's definitely worth it.
Sorry for reccing incomplete things! Also, you've probably read these ones already. but still...! Did you come across any gems yourself? I only got back into the fandom a few weeks ago, so still have a lot of reading to do.

You've captured everything I love about coffee best -- the shot of adrenalin you get from it, the way entire conversations and friendships happen around it/because of it. And your Lily was perfect -- it's always been my head!canon that she came around to realise how she felt about James when he backed away from her a little, which was lovely. I also adore all the symbolism she found in the coffee at Diagon Alley and how she sent it to James! ♥

I'm glad you think I captured the essence of coffee, since I'm not really a fan of it (I prefer tea ♥). And thank you, glad you liked Lily. I think I see it a lot in fics where Lily doesn't notice that she likes James until he starts seeing someone else/gives up. I know it's cliche, but I guess I like that scenario better instead of Lily aquiescing to him, because it gives more room for angst and I love reading angsty things (with happy endings!)
Thank you♥

This is beautiful. I love how Lily's feelings just creep up on her, and even then she's more than a little unsure because yes, that's really how any teenaged girl would work through the situation. And the underlying analogy between coffee and their relationship! How it starts as a guilty pleasure, then tastes bitter, then the moment he returns to her, it is better than ever.
Good job. :)

Omg, can you imagine if he did?! I think that's what I love about James (or fanon's portrayal anyway), there's no doubt in his mind about how he feels about Lily.
And thank you, glad you liked Lily's feelings creeping up and her being unsure, and the analogies.
Thanks! ♥
